Roundabout Oxford RV & Water Resort | Oxford, Mississippi
The biggest pool and lazy river complex we’ve ever seen at an RV park.
Roundabout Oxford impressed us with its 912-foot lazy river, swim-up bar, huge hot tubs, and family water park. If you’re looking for an RV resort in Oxford, Mississippi, where you can park and spend the day having fun, this one delivers.
Big-Rig-Friendly Sites
The flat concrete pads and wide roads were a big plus for our 45-foot Newmar London Aire. It’s a huge park with room to maneuver. They also have furnished cottages, so friends or family without an RV can join you.
Amazing Pools and Lazy River
The pool area was easily our favorite part. Grab a daiquiri at the Hoka Hut swim-up bar and float around the 912-foot Swayze lazy river—that’s our kind of pool day. And the hot tub was huge!
The water amenities include:
2.5-acre water park area
Family pool, water slide, and hot tub
Shallow kids’ splash pool with a water playground, buckets, slides, and water cannons
Adults-only pool and hot tub
Sun shelf, poolside loungers, and cabana rentals
Hoka Hut swim-up bar
It’s definitely family-focused, but we appreciated having a separate adults-only area to relax.
Poolside Food and Drinks
You don’t have to leave the resort to grab lunch, a drink, or something sweet.
The Canteen: Casual dining with service windows facing both pool areas
Hoka Hut: Swim-up drinks at the lazy river and adult pool
Molly Barr Bar: Poolside bites and cocktails
Beach Bar: Another spot for cocktails
Tasty Treat Trailer: Ice cream, shaved ice, and slushies
Camp Store: Snacks, drinks, camping essentials, and resort merchandise
Plenty to Do Beyond the Pool
The water area is the main attraction, but there’s plenty more to keep everyone busy:
Pickleball and tennis courts
18-hole mini golf and an arcade
Basketball, beach volleyball, cornhole, tetherball, and GaGa Ball
Shaded playgrounds for younger and older kids
Board games, cards, and dominoes
Electric golf cart rentals
Yoga deck, hammocks, and community fire rings
Grand Lodge, community room with a shared kitchen, pavilion, and party room
Separate small- and large-dog parks, a dog wash, and dog water stations
Ole Miss Game Weekends
The week before our stay, there was an Ole Miss game and the park was pretty much sold out—which is impressive considering its size.
We’d love to return for a football weekend. With all the TVs, you wouldn’t even have to go to the stadium to enjoy the game-day fun.
Our Honest Opinion
We would definitely stay again. The pool area and lazy river made Roundabout memorable, and the big-rig-friendly setup, food options, and activities gave us plenty of reasons to come back.
This is a family-focused resort with a water park atmosphere. Check attraction and dining hours for your dates, since availability can vary outside peak season and based on games.
Next time, we’d try to catch an Ole Miss home-game weekend for added fun.
