We’re Nicole and David Kazek from Destin, Florida — longtime business owners, parents of twin boys, and active adventurers who believe life is meant to be enjoyed, not postponed.

When our boys left for college, we semi-retired, looked at each other, and said,
“Well… it’s our turn.”

We started our RV journey in a Winnebago View, thinking it would be a fun experiment. What we didn’t expect was how quickly we’d fall in love — with the freedom, the outdoors, the people, and the ability to wake up somewhere new whenever we felt like it. One trip turned into another, and soon we realized we wanted more space, more comfort, and more time on the road.

So we leveled up to our Newmar London Aire — and yes, we’re still figuring it out (and sharing everything we learn along the way).

One big reason we chose to do this now is simple: life doesn’t wait. After walking through unexpected losses in our family , we were reminded how quickly everything can change. As people get older, even with time and money, certain adventures get harder — long bike rides, hiking trails, climbing viewpoints, or full days of exploring. We wanted to embrace the adventure while we’re healthy, active, and excited about it — not someday, but now.

RV life also surprised us in the best way. We imagined cramped sites and dusty campgrounds. Instead, we discovered luxury RV resorts with concrete pads, spa-style pools and hot tubs, gyms, restaurants, bars, live music, and some of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve ever met. RV life can be adventurous and refined.

We’re not selling everything or disappearing — we still have our home and business — but we are choosing to play a little more, stress a little less, and truly enjoy the ride.
